With over 12 years of emergency medicine experience, Dr. Balogun is dedicated to bringing patient-centered medical care directly to you. Dr. Balogun completed her medical school and residency training in emergency medicine in Chicago, IL. She obtained her MD from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center. This training has provided her with a strong foundation in acute care, critical decision-making, and patient-centered medicine.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Dr. Balogun is deeply involved in community health events and wellness programs, actively giving back to her community. Those who know her describe her as having a lighthearted and carefree personality, coupled with a firm and intentional approach to her work. In her leisure time, she enjoys gardening and recreational tennis. Identifying as an avid traveler and a self-proclaimed foodie, she finds immense joy in dance parties with her daughters.

PREVENTATIVE CARE

Our preventative care visits are designed to prioritize your long-term health and wellness, all from the comfort of your preferred location. Whether it’s a one-time health maintenance exam or an annual check-up, we tailor our evaluations to your individual needs.
We follow American Academy of Family Practice guidelines, considering your age, gender, family history, medical risk factors, and unique health goals. A typical evaluation includes:

– Comprehensive head-to-toe physical exam.
– Vision and hearing screenings.
– Blood work to assess risks for cardiac issues, diabetes, and metabolic conditions (lipid panel, metabolic panel, blood count, thyroid studies, and more).
– Coordination of cancer risk screenings, if applicable.
– Coordination of gynecological screenings for those at risk.
– Mental health screening.
– Health coaching and counseling for lifestyle and wellness planning.
– Specialty referrals and additional support as needed.

The base fee for a preventative care visit is $399. For additional testing tailored to individual needs—such as iron studies, hormone levels, vitamin levels, or EKGs—additional fees may apply. We’ll guide you through every step, including interpreting test results and providing follow-up care if necessary.

Virtual tele-health appointments are designed to provide thorough and efficient care for low-acuity medical conditions. Whether you’re dealing with a straightforward UTI, upper respiratory infection (URI), need basic management of a chronic condition, or want a medical consultation to review bloodwork or discuss health concerns, we’re here to help. The cost of a virtual tele-health appointment is $179.
What’s Included in a Virtual Appointment:

– Comprehensive evaluation and consultation tailored to your needs.
– Prescription services for appropriate treatment.
– Specialty referrals and support if needed.
– Complete follow-up to ensure your concerns are fully addressed.

NOTE: Due to the virtual nature of these visits, some aspects of a physical examination are limited. If an in-person visit is deemed more appropriate based on your condition, you will be advised to schedule a mobile acute care visit or, in more serious cases, seek care at the nearest ER or call 911.”
